About Us

Who are we?

“Strengthening Community Policing in Albania” (SCPA) is a programme supported by the Swedish Government, which aims to improve cooperation between the Albanian State Police and citizens in Albania. This programme aims to increase trust and cooperation between parties to improve public safety, making the police more accessible and responsive to the needs of local communities.

The program focuses on improving police capacities in terms of solving problems at the local level, involving citizens in crime prevention and increasing police transparency and accountability through various activities such as training, public events, and awareness campaigns.”
