‘VICTIMS OF CRIME’ SURVEY

Respondents were initially asked about the reason they went to the police station to file a report. It can be gathered from the data that most of cases were filed on family violence (27%). Further on, 45% of reports were filled on robbery cases like: incidents of robbery on private property/business (10%), stolen wallet/purse (10%), damage of property (7%), stolen car/bicycle (6%), stolen currency (5%).
Regarding the ways of contacting a police structure, in half of cases (50%) the respondents personally went to the Police Station to file a report. Meanwhile, 42% contacted the police by telephone (129) and 7% contacted an alternative police number or called a police officer in private.
