Police officers from Durres Local Police Directorate, in cooperation with the staff of the Center for Development and Social Initiatives, organized on 15th September 2025 a meeting with the first-year students of the “Beqir Cela” Vocational High School in Durres.
The main purpose of the activity was to stimulate discussions on school safety and community policing. The discussions focused on issues such as safety inside and outside the school premises, the role of the police in the community, how to build trust and communication between young people and authorities, and the active participation of parents and teachers for a safer school. During the activity it was also emphasized that continuous cooperation between the school, parents and authorities remains crucial to guaranteeing a safer environment for students.
