“I didn’t understand community policing at first, but after this meeting I understood that my role as a citizen is not to do favors, but to be an active citizen for shared security” – said Enea during the awareness meeting organized by the Elbasan Women’s Forum in collaboration with the Gramsh Police Commissariat and with the students of the 9-year school “Asllan Shahini”, Gramsh.
The purpose of the awareness meeting was to increase information and sensitize students on the phenomena of domestic violence and gender-based violence, digital violence, citizen security, police-citizen partnership.
This activity was developed in the framework of the project “Partnership between the State Police, local actors and the community regarding Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence, in the Elbasan Region”, supported by the “Strengthening Community Policing in Albania” (SCPA) Program.
