The ‘Digital Safety’ Fair was organised on 27th November 2025, in the premises of the 9-year school “Naum Kaçaku” in the Administrative Unit of Portez, Fier, as an educational and awareness-raising activity in the framework of the 16 Days of Activism against Violence against Women and Girls.
During the activity, students participated in a series of informative and practical activities, where they learned about internet safety, personal data protection, identifying online risks such as fraud, digital bullying and dangerous contacts, as well as the right ways to react in suspicious situations. The activities were designed for children to learn through games, demonstrations and practical exercises, making the educational process simpler, clearer and more attractive.
As part of the fair, students also made drawings on the theme “Digital Safety Tree”, where they placed awareness-raising messages and practical advice for a safe use of the internet.
This fair aimed to raise awareness among youth about creating a safer environment, not only in digital spaces, but also in their community. The active involvement of students is an important step towards promoting safe behaviors, preventing violence, and strengthening cooperation between school, community, and local institutions.
