On May 19, 2026, “Unë, Gruaja/I the Woman” NGO held an informative meeting with first-year students of the Administration and Social Policy and Social Service branches of study, in cooperation with the CPO Zone Specialist at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Korca. The activity was held in the framework of the project “We prevent domestic violence through institutional coordination”.
The activity was attended by students, representatives of the association and institutional actors, who discussed the phenomenon of digital violence and its impact on the increase in cases of domestic violence. The most common forms of digital violence, the psychological and social consequences, as well as the cases where this form of violence is most frequently encountered were addressed.
The services provided to victims of violence by the responsible institutions, the legal amendments to Law No. 9669, protection from cyberattacks and the importance of internet security were also discussed.
