The Elbasan Women’s Forum, on November 25, 2025, started the 16-day campaign against gender-based violence in “Gensher” Square together with the Police Commissariat, Municipality, Health, Education and other local member institutions of the Coordinated Referral Mecahnisms of the Municipality of Elbasan.
During the activity, leaflets and other awareness-raising materials on gender-based violence were distributed to citizens and they were informed, especially about digital violence.
This activity was carried out within the framework of the project “Partnership between the State Police, local actors and the community regarding Domestic Violence and Gender-Based Violence, in the Elbasan Region”, supported by the “Strengthening Community Policing in Albania” (SCPA) program.
