In cooperation with the Directorate of Social Protection and Gender Equality Policies at the Ministry of Health and Social Protection, and with the support of the SCPA Program, on 21 May 2026, a “Meeting of the Network of Members of the Coordinated Referral Mechanism” was organized in Shkodra for the municipalities of Shkodra, Vau i Dejes, Puka, Malesi e Madhe and Fushe Arrez.
The activity brought together members of the Coordinated Referral Mechanisms from these municipalities, creating a space for information on Law No. 11/2026 “On Prevention and Protection from Violence against Women and Domestic Violence”, as well as for sharing experiences and best practices. During the meeting, the importance of community policing, the role of institutions in referral mechanisms and the challenges encountered in supporting and treating survivors of violence were discussed. The Deputy Mayor of Shkodra Municipality, Ms. Teuta Qyteza, was also present at this activity.
