In the framework of the project “Public Safety Team – Partner for a Safe Community”, on 8 September 2025, a workshop was held in the municipality of Divjaka with the participation of the managers of the Municipal Police Directorate, the Directorate of Infrastructure and Urban Development, the Local Directorate of Education, the Directorate of Agriculture and the Directorate of Programming and Development.
During the meeting, the legal changes for the functioning of the LCPS were presented, community safety issues were discussed and identified, and the steps for drafting the Action Plan for Public Safety were determined. The directorates committed to collecting the necessary information, which will serve as a basis for specific budgeting for public safety and will be presented for discussion at the next meeting of the LCPS.
