On 25 May 2026, an information and awareness session on preventing violence and promoting healthy relationships was held with students of the 9-year school “Kosova” in Tirana, by ‘Institute for Strategic Development’ NGO.
This activity was held in the framework of the project “Decision-making that Protects – Strengthening police response and professional standards in dealing with domestic and gender-based violence”, part of the SCPA Program Grant Scheme.
The purpose of the activity was to inform and raise awareness of youth on the different forms of violence and abuse, as well as on the importance of early identification of problematic behaviors and the use of existing protection and reporting mechanisms.
During the session, topics such as domestic violence, digital violence, bullying, healthy relationships, online safety and ways to seek help were discussed, encouraging reflection and awareness on the importance of prevention and timely response.
